CANDY – Rev. Mary Piermont Hubbard of West St., Derby, Vt., passed away Monday Jan 20 at a local hospital at the age of 83. In accordance with her wish a memorial service will be held at 2 PM Jan 24 at the United Church of Derby, with the Rev. Lester Van Zant officiating. Interment will take place later in the family lot of the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneva, Ohio. At her request there will be no calling hours; also, in lieu of flowers, make contributions to the Rev. Candy Memorial Fund of the United Church of Derby, c/o Mrs. Fred Taylor, Derby. Curtis Funeral Home of Newport in charge of arrangements.
